Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Corrigo is operated from Serbia ("Corrigo", "we", "us"). Contact: support@corrigo.me. By creating an account or using the Corrigo applications, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Corrigo is a writing assistant: desktop and mobile applications that correct, rephrase and translate text using AI models, together with a hosted account service that manages plans, devices and usage. Plans and their limits are described on the pricing page.
3. Accounts and devices
- You sign in with your email address using a one-time code. Keep access to your inbox secure — anyone with your sign-in code can access your account.
- Each plan includes a number of device seats. You can see and remove devices in the app's settings; removing a device frees its seat immediately.
- One free account per person. Creating multiple free accounts to bypass limits is not allowed.
4. Plans, billing and taxes
- Paid subscriptions are sold by our merchant of record, Paddle, which handles payment, applicable VAT/sales tax and invoices. Card details never reach us.
- Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then switches to the Free plan.
- Prices and plan limits (tokens, devices, features) are listed on the pricing page. We may adjust plans and limits; changes apply from your next billing period, and we will notify you of material changes in advance.
- Usage is measured in tokens as reported by the AI providers, weighted by model class. Hosted plans use a daily token quota that resets at midnight UTC. Unused quota does not carry over. Max hosted usage is unlimited. Own API keys on Max do not count against the hosted quota.
5. Free plan
New accounts start on the Free plan. No payment method is required. Pro and Max unlock only after a successful checkout.
6. Refunds
If Corrigo isn't for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. Renewal payments can be refunded within 14 days of the renewal if the service was not used in that period. Refunds are processed through Paddle. The full policy is on the refund page.
7. Fair use
- Token quotas and rate limits protect the service for everyone. Automating requests, sharing an account beyond its device seats, or circumventing limits is not allowed.
- You may not use Corrigo to process content that is illegal, or to violate the acceptable-use policies of the underlying AI providers.
- You may not resell the service or offer it to third parties as your own without our written agreement.
8. Your content
- Your text is yours. You retain all rights to the content you process with Corrigo.
- Text is processed only when you explicitly request an action, is sent to an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) to produce the result, and is never stored or logged on our servers. We keep token counters, not content. We do not use your content to train models.
- In bring-your-own-key (BYOK) mode on the Max plan, requests go directly from your device to your chosen provider and never touch our servers.
- AI output can be wrong. Review suggestions before you use them — you are responsible for the text you send, publish or submit.
9. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the Corrigo applications on devices covered by your plan's seats. You may not reverse engineer the account service or attempt to bypass plan enforcement.
10. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Termination
You can stop using Corrigo and request account deletion at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; for paid accounts terminated without cause we refund the unused portion of the current period.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page and, for subscribers, by email at least 14 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Existing lifetime licenses purchased through Gumroad remain valid under the conditions they were sold with.
